The image distortion occurs more or less with a wideangle lens on, but this particular lens is especially made for Distortion Free（-1.3％） based on the sophisticated lens formula which produces a resolution power of 350-line/mm at center（MTF30%）. Especially designed for use with high-definition digital camera, and the lens is made of hi-index optical glasses, 3-group/3-element, fully coated. It's an ideal accessory lens for professionals and advanced amateurs shooting in tight place. There will be no reduction of light value when this conversion lens is attached on the camera's lens.
The original Raynox adapters are designed and made to suit the best physically and optically to the HD-6600PRO lens to obtain the optimum image quality like the pictures shown in our website. When the adapters of other makers are used with Raynox HD-6600PRO lens, the picture image quality could be slightly deteriorated, especially around the corners. |

●The focusing zoom range with the HD-6600PRO lens on will vary depending on the model of High Definition camera in use, and generally speaking the focusing zoom range is from the end of wide angle point up to 6x zoom area. No focusing at the telephoto end.
●Remote control function and internal video light/Flash may not work properly with conversion lens attached.
●Special Notes: The rear lens element of HD-6600PRO-58(58mm size) model is made protruded from the mounting threads of the barrel, and it may hit or give damage on the front lens of camcorder when mounted with the models other than described underneath;Compatible camcorder models SONY VX-2000/PD-150/DSR-250 Digital Camcorders, Canon GL-1/2,XM-1/2 Digital Camcorders.
●There is no difference in the optical performance of lens quality between DCR-6600PRO and other HD-6600PRO models.
●Exposing the conversion lens to a warm atmosphere in an instant way from the cold area may create some dews on and inside the lens. When it happened inside the lens, keep the lens in a dry area till the dews disappear before using. Repeating such situation may leave dirt spot-(mildew) and affect the image.
●All of Raynox conversion lenses are proudly made in Japan. At our wholly owned manufacturing subsidiary, every stage of production is rigorously checked and tested so that the lens elements compensate effectively for astigmatism, distortion and spherical aberration.... for an excellent image quality.
●The lens is neither made for dust-free nor moisture/water-proof. |
